Phosphate Buffered Saline (10X)
To prepare a 1X solution, mix one part of 10X PBS with nine parts of pure water.
When diluted to 1X concentration, PBS helps to maintain a constant pH.
It is a buffer solution that is isotonic and non-toxic to cells.
